Brent Slabrollers
These sturdy machines are constructed of heavy gauge steel pipe and plate, precision machined parts, permanently sealed bearings and aircraft quality cables. The beds consist of masonite shims which can be removed or added to vary the slab thickness from 1⁄8" to 11⁄4" (1" for SRC). A canvas covered removable shim that absorbs water from the clay is used so you can peel off the clay slab easily. The entire shim with clay slab can be removed from the bed. Extra shims available.
Mini SRC
SRC and Leg Set
Ideal for the hobby potter, practical for home and studio use, the SRC can produce slabs 21" wide and 40" long, in thickness from 1⁄4" to 1". Available as either a table model or with optional screw-in legs. The legs are constructed of heavy wall steel pipe to provide a sturdy work surface at 36" high. The simplicity of the patented cable drive system, with it's opposing rollers, allows use of a light frame without bed flex. The cable is aircraft quality and is attached to the frame with swivel ends to insure cable alignment and longevity. Each SRC comes with four 1⁄4" masonite shims (one is canvas covered), one 1⁄8" masonite shim and a 1" particle board bed.
SR-14
The SR-14 can be used on a table top or mounted on the optional leg set. A durable, mid-sized slab roller for the serious potter with limited studio space or for educational clay programs, the SR-14 rolls out slabs 14 inches wide and 3 feet long. Includes three masonite shims: one 1/8" plain and two 1/4" with canvas. Shown with optional leg set (see Slab Roller Accessories).
SR-20
The SR-20 is perfect for use in an advanced school or university clay program as well as the studio. The SR-20 rolls out slabs 20 inches wide and 5 feet long. It includes three masonite shims: one 1/8" plain and two 1/4" with canvas. The side rails of the SR-20 are now made with 3/16" steel for added strength and rigidity.
SR-36
The SR-36 rolls out slabs 36 inches wide and 5 feet long making it a great slab roller for potters creating large projects. It comes with four masonite shims: one 1/8" plain, one 1/4" plain and one 1/4" with canvas. The side rails of the SR-36 are now made with 1/4" steel for added strength and rigidity.
Slabroller Shims
These tempered masonite shims vary the thickness of your slabs. Shims for all 4 slabrollers available in 1⁄4" with canvas and 1⁄8" without (1⁄4" shim without canvas also available for SRC).
