Automatic Kiln and KilnMaster control features Skutt KilnMaster automatic kilns and controllers are the latest breakthrough in kiln firing. No ceramic cone is needed to perform any firing. By using the adjacent key pad you can accurately control each and every firing. If you have an existing kiln with a kiln sitter a wall mounted controller can easily be connected. This convenience makes firing a lot more consistent. However, as with all other firing we recommend that human supervision is still needed for safety.

Skutt Kiln Sitter Electric Kilns Skutt offers a 20% energy saving advantage. Now they offer the popular 8 and 10 sided kilns with 3" firebrick. That's 20% thicker than standard 2-1/2" brick. Their better insulating properties mean faster heat build-up and more even heat distribution from top to bottom. Depending on your electric power rates and whether you fire indoors or outdoors, the savings can be significant. All Skutt energy saving kilns come with built-in Dawson Kiln-Sitter standard. Limit Timer and Pyrometers are optional. And unlike some 3" competitive models that require costly direct wiring, all Skutt energy efficient kilns plug into a standard 6-50 wall socket.
