AMACO Sun Strokes
Underglazes (SS) cone 06-05 (lead free) Clear glaze smoothes out and brightens the colors. Apply two even coats to bisque. When using clear glaze, it must be applied over the decorated piece before firing of the underglaze. Apply LG-10 or F-10 over underglaze colors for one stroke application and all over coverage. Apply one even coat on a mature Cone 04 (1971°F, 1077°C) bisque. Fire to Cone 06-05 (1855°-1911°F, 1013°-1044°C). If left unglazed, AMACOŽ Sunstrokes should not be used on surfaces which come in contact with food or drink. Sunstrokes are dinnerware safe when covered by AMACO clear glazes LG-10, F-10, and HF-9 or any other dinnerware safe glaze. AMACO Sunstrokes have only been tested and approved as dinnerware safe when applied and fired under AMACO LG-10 Clear Glaze.
