AMACO Lustre and Metallic Glazes (L) cone 05 (lead free)

These glazes provide the high brilliance of lustre. The end result is determined by the structure of the ware and the method of application. Lustre glazes can be used in conjunction with other glazes or by themselves. Lustre glazes can also be high fired to Cone 4-6 (2161°-2269°F, 1183°-1243°C) with fantastic results.

Stir and mix Lustre glazes thoroughly. They should be the consistency of rich cream. If thinning is necessary, add a little water and AMACO® Gum Solution. Apply these glazes by brushing or sponging on a mature Cone 04 (1971°F, 1077°C) bisque. Fire to Cone 05 (1911°F, 1044°C).
